We told Margherita's story through a language that restores humanity to industrial production. This rebranding and visual identity project was born to lighten the brand from the weight of a didactic, misleading image, revealing the wisdom of hands that, even at scale, shape the dough.
Strategy
How to communicate the artisan soul of a frozen pizza? How to convey tradition through packaging? The strategic knot was to transform the perception of "serial product" into recognition of human work, building a system that speaks of tradition with lightness.
Development
The logo captures the movement of the pizzaiolo preparing the dough, communicating dynamism through the fluidity of forms. The palette recalls raw ingredient colours and every element of the system balances tradition and contemporaneity, human warmth and modern clarity. Packaging abandons the light backgrounds typical of frozen food for deep tones that enhance product photography, while graphic composition balances technical information and the brand's emotional narrative.
Outcome
The rebranding positions Margherita in the frozen food landscape as a brand that values craftsmanship in large-scale production, communicating that the wisdom of human gesture is a value, not a limit. The identity creates a more authentic relationship with the consumer, showing how frozen and warmth are not incompatible. The shift in perception — from mechanised to guardian of tradition — positions the brand in a unique space in retail.
