The Jungle Within
The launch of the new IMOCO Volley 2026/27 jerseys, told from idea to visual product — without a single day of photo shoot in the new kits.
01 - Narrative direction
From idea to visual product.
The brief is simple: launch the new 2026/27 jerseys. From there comes a beat-driven screenplay, designed for a social audience before a single frame is shot — every scene has a precise role in the story, not just a shot to fill.
02 - Starting material
Last season's athletes, next season's jersey
The starting point is not a new photo shoot, but two archives that had never existed together: the official shots of the players and the 3D mock-up of the 2026/27 jersey — never worn by anyone in front of a camera.
03 - Asset fusion
A real body, a jersey that has not been sewn yet
This is where the hybrid asset is born: the real person and the new virtual jersey, aligned light for light and fold for fold, until compositing disappears and only an athlete on court remains in the 26/27 kit.
04 - Identity lock
Six players and locked props
Each player and prop has its own reference sheet that no subsequent generation can alter. It is the guarantee that, scene after scene, they always remain consistent.
05 - Camera directives
Optics, movement, light: a technical script
Every frame is directed with the same level of detail as a real set — focal length, camera height, light direction, movement physics — translated into a language the generation engine can execute.
06 - Production
Many takes, only some remain
Each scene is generated and regenerated until identity, physics and performance match the given direction — then you choose, exactly as you would when editing a real shoot.
07 - Post-production
Where the footage stops looking generated
Grading, pacing, sound design: the work in Premiere is what turns a sequence of scenes into a film — the most traditional part of a process that is anything but traditional.
08 - Output
One film, two formats, one story
The final step is not a rethink but a second edit: the same film reimagined for the vertical screen, without losing the framing that made it a film.
